Ongoing Issues with Cleveland Heights Sewer System

“The public is invited to attend a May 16 community meeting with city, state and federal officials regarding a proposed Consent Decree settlement over ongoing issues with the sewer system.
City officials previously announced the meeting, set for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Center through a May 5 email blast to residents.
There, officials will "present information regarding plans to improve the city's sewer system to comply with the Clean Water Act."
The meeting, which will also be videotaped for local channel 20 and YouTube, "will have presentations from environmental professionals and the city regarding the maintenance, operation and management of the city's 100-year-old sewer system and the impact these measures will have on the sewer rate."
