Turkey Fryer Safey in Cleveland, OH
11/1/2021 (Permalink)
As the calendar flips, we can find ourselves in November! With November, comes Thanksgiving and preparing some family recipes for your family, maybe even some Euclid neighbors if you participate in Friendsgiving! We often find ourselves seeing at least one Valley View news story about a Turkey Fryer gone wrong over the holidays. Here at SERVPRO of Beachwood and Cleveland Northeast, we want you and your family members or Lyndhurst neighbors to safely enjoy your big meal!
Here are some tips to prevent any turkey accidents (please follow all instructions included with your fryer):
* Keep fryers off decks, out of garages and a safe distance from trees!
* Always place the fryer on a level surface
* Follow instructions to avoid over filling your fryer. Oil can ignite when it touches the burner.
* Never leave fryers unattended and be sure to keep children and pets away from the fryer.
* Keep a fire extinguisher close by.
* Once the turkey cooking is complete, let the oil cool overnight before disposal.
We here at SERVPRO of Beachwood and Cleveland Northeast hope you enjoy a safe holiday with those around you. If you find yourself with residential fire damage, call SERVPRO of Beachwood and Cleveland Northeast at 216-464-4498. No job is too big or too small for SERVPRO.®
